Disappointed in his first season, Milan must decide on the future of the Belgian

Milan invested over €30 million in Charles De Ketelaere last summer, but the Belgian talent has disappointed in his debut season, putting his place in the squad in question.

The 22-year-old has not looked the same player that shone with Club Brugge last season, as he already has one assist in 1,441 minutes of play in 38 appearances. He has started just nine matches in Serie A and has been benched for the last five matches in a row in the Champions League.

Paolo Maldini discussed De Ketelaere after Milan's elimination from the Champions League, stressing that the footballer was the best option after Dybala's failure. The Reds will make some changes in the summer, with the incoming and outgoing market expected to be "fire".
