Juventus was punished by sports justice with the removal of 15 points from the Serie A ranking, this for the maneuvers in the financial balances for salaries and player movements known as "plusvalence".

"Taking as a basis the precedents pertaining to the changes in the club's accounting for several periods, in quantity and intensity, it was considered necessary to redefine the sanction compared to the request of the federal prosecutor", the decision states.

Basically, it was considered that Juventus had committed the crime, "given the documentation coming from the club's managers and the relevant manuscripts found, the unequivocal wiretapping and further evidence related to interventions to hide documents or even manipulate invoices ".

The decision also states that the changes in the invoices were made with a pen.
