"Me and the car were one"/ F1, Verstappen: After the first corner I enjoyed the track

From the first corner to the last, Max Verstappen dominated the entire 57 laps of the Sakhir circuit at the Bahrain Grand Prix.

The Dutchman never doubted the triumph in the first race of the season, as he said in the interview that he and the car had become one on the track.

The three-time World Champion emphasized that he thoroughly enjoyed the performance of his Redbull and that everything went better than he had anticipated.

We had prepared the scenario for the first corner, I protected the inside because I knew Leclerc would attack there.
