The sensational incident, Mirlind Daku speaks for the first time

Mirlind Daku spoke for the first time about the sensational incident. Yesterday, after returning to Albania, he gave an interview saying that this European was probably not the best experience for him after what happened.

However, the attacker was proud to be part of the National Team as he spoke with superlatives about the team.

"The European in general was a very good experience. Not very good for me, considering what happened. But we have nothing to do. We are seeing that the National Team is growing every day and I am very pleased that I was part of the National Team in this European Championship," he said in an interview for Ora Neës.
After the match against Croatia, which ended 2:2, Daku was involved in an incident that received international media attention and also an intervention from UEFA. This is because the attacker at one point took the megaphone and made an insulting call to Macedonians and Serbs.
