Aplikimet janë hapur që në fillim të muajit shkurt dhe deri më tani janë regjistruar 126 futbollistë, djem e vajza, të vitlindjeve 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 dhe 2009. Të pranishëm në këtë seleksionim do të jenë Drejtori Teknik i FSHF-së, Fulvio Pea, zv.trajneri i Kombëtares A, Hamdi Salihi, përgjegjësi për futbollin e vajzave në FSHF, Florian Riza dhe ish-kapiteni i Kombëtares, Ansi Agolli, i cili ka mbështetur këtë iniciativë e që jeton e punon në SHBA prej vitesh. Departamenti i Ekipeve Kombëtare ka mbledhur tashmë të gjitha dhënat e nevojshme dhe ka përpiluar listat të futbollistëve dhe futbollisteve që do të marrin pjesë në këtë seleksionim, që zhvillohet për herë të parë në Amerikën e Veriut, ku ka një komunitet të madh shqiptarësh.
