This name with history, was born in Dibër on January 30, 1953, in that city where faith, masculinity, the ode of men with a fireplace and bravery, but also wrestling, a nursery, with history and talents in this sport, were the key words. Student life and first competitions as a champion

After finishing the 8-year high school in Dibër, he won a scholarship at the University of Shkodra, Language and Literature branch. After the brilliance in the spartakiade, without any hesitation, Professor Vili takes Faris to the wrestling gym and joins him with the Albanian wrestling champions, Mirash Vuksani, Eljaz Guri, Nikollë Grima, Naim Pepa and other champions. He is immediately put to the test by coach Qazim Elbasani, who is amazed by the spectacle that Farisi presents on the carpet. Kthimi në vendlindje, kontributi në arsim

Ai sapo është diplomuar e duhet të kthehet në vendlindje, të japë kontribut në fushën e arsimit. Aso kohe Dibra  i kishte me “pikatore” kuadrot me arsim të lartë në të gjitha fushat. Fale talentit, ky qytet ia skaliti emrin në majat e mundjes shqiptare. Në shtator 1975 ai kthehet përfundimisht në vendlindje. Atë tani e presin sfida të mëdha, të edukojë brezin e ri në arsim, por pa ju ndarë për asnjë çast sportit të mundjes. Sa merr detyrën e arsimtarit, papritmas atë e caktojnë në zonat me të thella të Dibrës si i “dënuar i ndërgjegjes”. Ky përçmim nuk e step kampionin. Pasioni për sportin e mundjes bën të sakrifikojë orët e tij të pushimit e të pasdites. Ai do stërvitet çdo ditë, të fitojë formën e shkëlqyer që trashëgoi nga “Vllaznia”, e ia arrin të fitojë një kupë republike, e 3 tituj nën kampion me “Korabin”. Ma vonë ai merr detyrën e trajnerit tek të rinjtë e mundjes së Korabit, e shpallë ekipin e tij 5 herë kampion kombëtar. Ai i stërvit talentet e së ardhmes në fshatin e tij të lindjes, Sohodoll, emra kampionësh dalë nga ky fshat që kanë bërë histori te mundja shqiptare, të talentuarit si Xhelal Haraçia, Sait Huta, Sajmir Tafa e të tjerë talente, me histori.

Largimi nga sporti dhe përkushtimi në jetën familjare

Në vitin 1990, ai largohet përfundimisht nga mundja, për t’iu kushtuar arsimit, duke shërbyer në instancat më të larta të tij, pa lënë mbas dore familjen e tij intelektuale, e cila ka luajtur një rol të veçantë në ecurinë e tij ndër vite. Familja, e Faris Cibakut njihet në Peshkopi, për vlera të shkëlqyera kulturore arsimore e sportive. Janë 2 vajzat Jorida e Edlira kanë përqafuar diplomën, si babai në gjuhë-letërsi, në edukimin e brezit të ri në gjimnazin “Demir Gashi”. Gentjani, djali i madh i familjes Cibaku, dikur kampion me të rinjtë në mundje, ka një CV të  shkëlqyer, për tu admiruar në arsimim. Ai ka përfunduar me sukses “Akademinë e Sporteve” e atë Ushtarake. Si një kuadër me përvojë, ka marrë pjesë në 2 misione paqeruajtëse, në “Bosnjë” e “Afganistan”, e ka kryer specializim në kuadër të NATO-s në Gjermani e disa shtete të tjera, duke qenë shembull kudo. Rizai, djali vogël, ka përfunduar me sukses “Universitetin e Sporteve”. Sot ai jep mësim orën e fizkulturës te gjimnazi “Demir Gashi” dhe drejton me sukses vajzat e reja të volejbollit “Korabi”. Ka 50 vjet që e njoh Farisin që kur ishte student, në universitet. E takova, pas një gjysmëshekulli, tani para një jave në Dibër, ashtu e mbaj mend dhe sot, si dikur, por me një ndryshim, se ishte zbardhur se mbanë mbi supet vitet e një 70-vjeçari. Ata vite bëjnë punën e vet, por ai ishte plot energji, kurajoz, i thjeshtë, e modest për të kaluarën e tij në sport e në mësimdhënie. Me një karrierë të admirueshme, me tituj e kupa Shqipërie të fituara, atij asnjëherë nuk ju njohën vlerat e merituara. Ky kampion akoma nuk ka marrë titullin “Mjeshtër i Sportit”, apo “Mjeshtër i Merituar i Sportit”. Duket absurd ky fakt, kur të tjerë të paaftë e servilë, e pa histori në asnjë fushë të jetës, kanë përfituar pa meritë tituj të ndryshëm deri te “Mjeshtër i Madh”, pa asnjë kontribut. Ky është absurditet! Ky kampion, dhe të tjerë të lënë në harresë, duhet të kujtohen nga instancat e sportit, e t’i japin gjithsecilit vendin që u takon. Ata nuk kërkojnë lëmoshë por një kujtesë të merituar. I bëj një apel shoqëror, kreut të federatës, zotit Sait Prizreni, t’i japë Farisit vendin e merituar e ta respektojë sa është gjallë, se më vonë kjo nuk ka më vlerë.
