The Champions League quarter-final throws the balls / Shorteu brings surprises with the "feverish" confrontations, the rules are revealed at the last minute

There is still a week to go before the final leg of the event is decided, with four teams already qualified for the quarter-finals and eight still needing to play their second leg to enter the next round.

The draw for the quarter-finals will be made in Nyon next week. But on the same occasion, the path to the semi-finals of the Champions League will be determined.

Milan, Benfica, Chelsea, Bayern Munich are already qualified for the quarterfinals of the Champions League. Next week sees the other four round of 16 matches, Porto-Inter and Manchester City-Leipzig on Tuesday 14 March and then Napoli-Frankfurt and Real Madrid-Liverpool on Wednesday 15 March. The draw will be made on Friday 17 March at 12:00.

At this point in the event, the draw will have no obstacles. So, challenges between two clubs belonging to the same federation will be allowed, as well as any matches that have previously been played in the group stage. The draw, in addition to the quarter-final pairings, will also show the semi-final pairings.

The first legs of the quarter-finals will take place on Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 April, while the return legs on 18 and 19 April. The semi-finals will take place on May 9 and 10, the first matches, and on May 16 and 17, the return matches. The final will be on Saturday, June 10 at the Atatruk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.
