Anis Mehmeti is one of the players gathered by Silvinjo for the next two matches of the Albanian national team. The Reds host Moldova in "Air Albania" (June 17), while three days later it is the turn of the transfer to the Faroe Islands. The offensive midfielder, who plays in the Championship with Bristol City, spoke to the official channel of the AFL, where he stated, among other things: "The year has been very special for me. I was with Wycombe for the first 6 months. Then, in January I made the transfer to Bristol City in the Championship. Then I made my debut with the Albanian national team, which has been a dream for me and my family. I still have things to fix and improve. Debut with Albania? Of course I had emotions. It was a special day for me. I felt very good, the family was also pleased. We have two games now: one at home, one away. We have to go with the goal of winning both games. We have to play with a lot of desire and aggressiveness to win the matches. I made my first debut abroad, in Poland. Now I have my real debut in front of the Red and Black fans", concluded Anis Mehmeti. The 22-year-old, born in London, made his debut with the Albanian national team in the first meeting of group E against Poland, in Warsaw. Challenge which we lost 1-0.
