What is the pasta diet and how does it work?
The pasta diet, as the name suggests, involves the daily consumption of pasta in all forms. Pasta can be combined with an infinite number of seasonings such as extra virgin olive oil or seeds, tomato sauce, legumes, vegetables, fish, meat, cheese.

The only things you need to be careful about are the quantity and the ingredients. The pasta diet is based on consuming a maximum of 80g of pasta per day, every day for about a month.
Lose weight by eating pasta

Losing weight by eating pasta is an extremely healthy and nutritious method to lose extra pounds. According to experts, the pasta diet works because it is rich and varied; in the intake of sugars, carbohydrates, proteins, vegetables and fats, vegetable ones are preferred. In addition to the nutritional profile, pasta also has interesting metabolic contributions; this is why it is considered an ideal diet food.
3 rules to follow

If you want to try the pasta diet, just follow three rules.
One, the cooking should be al dente so that they are more digestible. Additionally, once cooked, pasta should be rinsed to eliminate excess starch residue. If possible, it is better to choose wholegrain pasta, because it is rich in fiber which will help you feel fuller longer and promote bowel motility.
We should prefer simple, light and healthy sauces. For this reason, there are no carbonara and amatriciana dishes, pasta must be served with plenty of vegetables, fish or legumes, with a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil per person. You will find that by replacing the sauce with a vegetable and protein-based sauce, the dish will increase in volume, without increasing the intake of excess calories.
In the end, pasta should be eaten without a second course, which will be moved to the next meal. This is because the pasta sauce itself should contain all the nutrients, i.e. vegetables and proteins and in this way you will have consumed a single balanced dish. In the second meal of the day, the choice is yours whether it is lunch or dinner, an equally simple and healthy second course will be preferred.
For example, you can choose fish with vegetables and bread, or soup with vegetables and legumes, or lean meat with potatoes and vegetables.
