Psychotherapist dr. Corey Yeager introduced a simple exercise that takes only 20 seconds and can relieve feelings of anxiety, stress and nervousness.

Simply put, if you have an important meeting or phone call, instead of endlessly scrolling through social media or obsessively thinking about what to say, take a deep breath and be present in the moment.

Focus on what is here and now. First you need to pay attention to your mood. You can write a sentence or two about it. Focus on breathing.

It is recommended to practice this exercise several times during the day. Focus on breathing in and out during those twenty seconds. While practicing this deep breathing exercise, you can close your eyes or make affirmations.
