Myth or truth? Do black cats attract bad luck?

You've all heard that you should cross the street if you see a black cat you should take three steps back as fast as you can. Crazy, right? But the fact is that there are many prejudices about black cats.

Years ago, they were considered carriers of bad luck and were often associated with witchcraft, death and various superstitions. Therefore, these misconceptions have led people to believe that black cats are more aggressive than others.

As believable as the stories of witches, wizards and black cats may be, the truth is that they are no different from cats of other colors when it comes to their personalities. If you see a black cat showing signs of aggression, it may be because it has had bad experiences with people in the past.

The first myth we want to dispel today in favor of black cats is the one about the belief that they bring bad luck. But although this myth is apparently as old as time, it really has no point of contact with the truth. In fact, there are some countries that consider black cats to bring luck and blessings.

Although black cats are basically not much different from cats of other colors, because like others they can be playful and withdrawn, what can be noticed about them is that they have a much more relaxed character than the rest of the cat community.

Also, although Hollywood movies have given black cats a bad name, they are not inherently evil.
