Many experts have confirmed that there is really addictive food in our body and here is the most dangerous...
Psychologists from the University of Michigan and "Virginia Tech" listed some addictive foods and the results of this study were published in the journal "Addiction". In their opinion, highly processed food containing additives is just as addictive as cigarettes and tobacco.
So they singled out some foods that practically make you feel like you're going into withdrawal when you don't have them, namely: chips, ice cream, chicken nuggets, and sweets. Scientists came to these results based on the criteria used in the assessment of smoking addiction.
Regular consumption of unhealthy and processed foods can lead to compulsive overeating because such foods, like nicotine, affect mood and overall health.
