Be careful! Here's how hot temperatures affect blood pressure

The causes of high blood pressure are strongly linked to many lifestyle factors including diet and physical activity.

However, experts say temperatures can also affect blood pressure.

According to them, hot weather and exposure to the sun for a long time can lower high blood pressure.

They explain that generally, blood pressure is higher in winter and lower in summer.

High temperatures in the summer season cause blood vessels to dilate while the body itself tries to lower the internal temperature.
This causes a drop in blood pressure.

In cold weather, on the other hand, blood vessels narrow and blood pressure is higher.

Among other things, weight gain and lack of physical activity in winter increases blood pressure, experts say.

High temperatures prompt the body to sweat more to maintain internal temperature.
This means that the body loses more fluids than usual and this can cause a drop in blood pressure.

Such a thing causes difficulties in people suffering from heart.

Extreme heat can cause a heavy burden on the heart and blood circulation.

The heart beats faster and works harder to pump blood, which must circulate as close to the surface of the skin as possible to accelerate sweating.

Blood thickens more summer and together with changes in cholesterol level, they become dangerous factors for heart health.

The American Heart Association says that continuous exposure for two days in a row to scorching summer temperatures can increase the risk of premature death from a heart problem.
