Vucic in distress, the fifth largest protest in Belgrade, marked only one incident

Vucic in distress, the fifth largest protest in Belgrade, marked only one

The fifth "Serbia against violence" protest, which was announced for next week, has ended in Belgrade, N1 reports. It had not yet reached the end of the column in the Presidency, when the crowd began to disperse.

Before the protesters began to disperse, one of the students addressed the crowd in front of the Presidency. "Dear students and students, I am very glad that we have gathered in such a number, good for all of us", she said. She invited those gathered to disperse, but she also invited them to see each other "next time". "Until the requirements are met. And in the end - what don't students do? Students don't keep quiet," she said.

The organizers of the protest warned that in today's rally there could be provocateurs of right-wing groups under the control of the government to delegitimize the protesters' demands, but during the entire protest only one non-serious incident occurred.

It has been announced that there will be no talks with the president of Serbia until all the demands of the citizens who "demand a normal state, where everyone is safe" are met.

Among other things, they demand the removal of the leadership of RTS, the confiscation of national frequencies from the pro-government commercial televisions Pink and Happy for violating the law, inciting violence and immorality and broadcasting programs that affirm violence, crime and aggression. .

The list of demands also includes the dismissal of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Bratislava Gashiq, and the director of the Security Agency (BIA), Aleksandar Vulin, after the Minister of Education, Branko Ruzhiç, resigned under public pressure.

The government considers the protests political and accuses the pro-European opposition of the "vulture" tragedy.

The fifth protest against Vucic

The "Serbia against violence" protest, the fifth in a row after two tragedies in a Belgrade primary school and two villages near Mladenovci, will be held on Friday afternoon in Belgrade, and the aim of the protesters is to march from the Serbian Parliament to surround the district where the seat of the President of the Republic is located. The protests were sparked by two mass shootings in early May, when 18 young people were killed, which protesters see as victims of government-controlled tolerance of violence in public spaces and media, and today is just one. months after the murder in the "Vladislav Ribnikar" elementary school.

In four previous protests, held at the invitation of the pro-European opposition, tens of thousands of protesters blocked the city center, the double main road on the highway through the capital, and last Saturday in the procession, Radio-Television of Serbia. was blocked in the procession, the coverage of which the protesters do not see as information in the public interest, but as an uncritical favor to the current government. Today's protest was massive due to harsh public reactions after the representatives of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party in the Serbian Parliament called the actors who support the protesters and their demands "scum".
