The US Department of State has reacted after the tensions in the north of Kosovo where Serbian citizens clashed with the police.
DASH states that "they strongly condemn the actions of the Government of Kosovo to forcefully enter the municipal buildings in the north of Kosovo, actions that it took against the advice of the United States and Kosovo's European partners.
"The United States of America strongly condemns the actions of the Government of Kosovo to forcefully enter municipal buildings in the north of Kosovo, actions that it took against the advice of the United States and Kosovo's European partners. These actions have sharply and unnecessarily escalated tensions, undermining our efforts to help normalize relations between Kosovo and Serbia, and will have consequences for our bilateral relations with Kosovo. We call on Prime Minister Albin Kurti to change course and all parties to refrain from any further actions that will inflame tensions and incite conflict", states the reaction of DASH.
