As he asked for the help of international partners to calm the situation, Kurti insisted that such a project, although failed, seems to be asked to be realized through violence.

"There are three categories that are making these riots because they see that Kosovo is a state, that Kosovo has professional police, that we are a democratic country that is developing, while they want its division, they want the fragmentation of Kosovo, this is the clear goal theirs", he said in an interview for TheGeopost.

Kurti said that this idea had also encouraged some Albanians to deal with it.

"Territorial exchange was the name for the division of Kosovo, which would entice some Albanians to accept it," he said.

"They have not given up on this idea, which can only be implemented through violence.
