The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, declared that today's negotiations between the delegations of Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels ended without success.

For the journalists, Vu?i? said that the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, did not accept the compromise proposal of the European Union, writes N1 .

"We had talks and I think they ended without success in terms of finding a clear path towards the normalization of relations. We all have our proposals, in the end we as Serbia accepted the compromise proposal of the European Union. "Kurti didn't want to accept it and the meeting ended," he emphasized.

"It is clear that Kurti is simply avoiding the formation of the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority. This is the essence of everything. Serbia does not run away from its obligations", added the Serbian president.

Earlier, the tripartite meeting between the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the President of Serbia, Aleksandër Vucic and EU diplomats, Josep Borrell and Miroslav Lajcak, ended.

The meeting, which took place in Brussels, lasted about two hours. EU diplomats are expected to have further bilateral meetings with Kurti and Vucic.
