Ramush Haradinaj demands the dismissal of Albin Kurti after the tensions in the North, calls to the MPs for a motion of no confidence

Yesterday's plenary session in Kosovo was dedicated to the situation caused in the north of the country in which Prime Minister Albin Kurti faced the harsh language of the opposition parties while the head of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj demanded a motion of no confidence in the government. Prime Minister Kurti stated that he cannot close his eyes to the criminal gangs in the north, which are threatening the constitutional order of the Republic. The President of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, said that his party will "prevent the strategic slide of the Republic of Kosovo by any means", as according to him, without coordination with the Western allies, Kosovo cannot realize its rights either. . Abdixhiku said that his party had decided not to compete in the elections in the four municipalities in the north of Kosovo, Zveçan, Leposavic, Zubin Potok and North Mitrovica as he felt that he could not represent the residents in this area inhabited by a majority of Serbs. "Although the LDK did not compete, we have supported the competition of two political parties because we believe that this is the right of an independent democratic state. Today, this right of ours, without the West and without allies, is unlikely to exist", Abdixhiku said during his speech in the Assembly of Kosovo. The Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, said that the actions of the Government of Kosovo in the north of the country were carried out without coordination with the allies. AAK President Ramush Haradinaj said that Kurti has sown a great disloyalty towards Kosovo's biggest allies, including the United States of America, which is the main element that has guaranteed Kosovo's citizenship.
