In a meeting held in Serbia on March 28, Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou announced that Greece's position on recognizing Kosovo's independence remains unchanged.
Greece is one of the five countries of the European Union that still do not recognize the independence of Kosovo.
"There is always pressure at the diplomatic level, but this has not affected our position, we have consistency in politics," Sakellaropoulou said after her meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vu?i?.
She also emphasized that Greece welcomes the Annex for the implementation of the agreement towards normalization between Kosovo and Serbia, which was reached in Ohrid on March 18, with the mediation of the European Union.
"Greece is ready to support Belgrade and Pristina in the implementation of the agreement", she added.
