The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, hosted on Thursday the ambassador of the United States of America, Jeffrey Hovenier, with whom she discussed, among other things, the new CBK Regulation, which prohibits the use of the Serbian dinar.
According to the Presidency, Osmani and Hovenier have given special focus to the proposals that offer sustainable solutions for the transition plan for the implementation of this regulation.
"Discussing various aspects of bilateral cooperation, President Osmani emphasized the deep gratitude for the support of the USA for the sovereignty, constitutionality and territorial integrity of Kosovo", the official announcement states.
The meeting also discussed cooperation in terms of the international agenda in the coming months, as well as cooperation in the field of defense.
