Serbian analyst Dushan Janjic said in an interview for Euronews Albania that Serbian Prime Minister Ana Bërnabic's declaration of resignation is a political game.
According to him, thanks to Bernabiç's statement, we can come to the conclusion that she will continue to be prime minister, but we cannot rule out the problems the government has.
"It is an internal political game, the circle of the Serbian Progressive Party is narrowing as a result of the pressure of the citizens who have taken to the streets to protest, but also the opposition in the parliament, which is really massive. People have come out in protests and demand new measures. Thanks to Bernabic's statement, we can come to the conclusion that she will continue to be prime minister, but we cannot rule out the problems the government has.
"Vucic can accept the resignation of some ministers, such as the one of the interior, but he would never make a decision without consulting the Quint countries to go to general elections," said the Serbian analyst.
