Kurti: We will reduce the police presence when the criminal gangs leave, go to Serbia or take them to prison

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, spoke yesterday about the possibility of reducing the police forces in the facilities of the northern municipalities. However, he says that for such a thing to happen, the gangs that worship Slobodan Milosevic and Vladimir Putin must leave. Albin Kurti added that it is impossible not to protect public assets from such gangs and says that the moment they leave, then the number can be reduced. "I can naturally imagine the reduction of the police in the municipal buildings when these gangs who worship Milosevic and Putin leave. Either let them go to Serbia, or we have to take them to prison. But there is no way that we will not protect public assets from such gangs. When they leave, we can reduce the number", said Kurti. We remind you that Serbian citizens gathered again yesterday to protest near the municipalities in the north of Kosovo. The protest is taking place respectively in front of the municipal headquarters in Zveçan, Leposavic and Zubin Potok. The demands from the Serbs are the same, the resignation of the new Albanian mayors who were elected on April 23 and the special forces of the Kosovo Police. Compared to the protest two days ago, the participation of protesters is lower. KFOR and the police have created a security perimeter in front of the municipalities to avoid any incident. Internationals are calling for de-escalation as all it takes is a spark and everything explodes.
