The President of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic, stated that he was misunderstood in his statements when he said that "Kosovo was stolen from Serbia by the international community".
During a media conference together with the new Slovenian president, Natasha Pirc Musar, clarified his statement, which provoked strong reactions.
"Serbia was left without Kosovo, it did not give it voluntarily, it was lost in the war. I could have said differently, that Serbia remained Kosovo, but I assume that we all agree that Kosovo was part of Serbia", said Milanovic", he said.
He said that Serbia should recognize Kosovo in a certain way and added that he has good friendship with the politicians of Kosovo. Regarding the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority, Milanovic said that it should be established, after it was signed and approved
