The Commissioner of the European Union for Enlargement and Neighborhood, Oliver Varhelyi, is in Kosovo today on an official visit. Varhelyi has his first meeting with President Vjosa Osmani at 09:00, after which he will also give statements to the media.
Afterwards, he will meet Prime Minister Albin Kurti at 10:05, while an hour later he will be received by Speaker Glauk Konjufca.
Varhelyi will also meet with the opposition and civil society representatives.
"These meetings will be an opportunity to review EU-Kosovo relations and discuss recent developments as well as key reforms, including in the area of ??justice reform, energy transition and the fight against organized crime and corruption," it says. the announcement of the European Commission.
During this visit, Varhelyi will participate in the launch of the EU-Kosovo Internal Affairs Program, for strengthening the law and the fight against corruption and organized crime.
