The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glak Konjufca, has expressed his condolences to the American Senate for the death of former Senator Joseph Lieberman.
At the beginning of the extraordinary parliamentary session, Konjufca highly appreciated the contribution of the former American senator for the freedom of Kosovo.
He informed that the great friend of Kosovo will never be forgotten by the Kosovar society.
"I would like on behalf of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, on behalf of all of you as MPs, to express our condolences to the American Senate and the Lieberman family, because yesterday the great friend of the Republic of Kosovo and the Albanians, American Senator Joseph Lieberman, passed away. , who for 34 years was a member of the American Senate and a very great friend of our interests, who at every moment not only did not hesitate, but tirelessly defended the cause for the freedom of the people of Kosovo, for the Republic of Kosovo as independent and sovereign state.
