A 26-year-old woman in Podujevë, Kosovo, has given birth to quadruplets, three boys and a girl.
The media in Kosovo report that the new mother and the four babies enjoy full health.
The mother with the quadruplets are currently in the Central Hospital where they are receiving the necessary treatment after the birth, which was performed through surgery.
"In the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of the University Clinical Center of Kosovo, a mother from Podujeva gave birth to quadruplets. The mother with the initials DS, 26 years old, was born by operation, under the health care of doctors, midwives and nurses. Three children are male and one is female. The mother and children are in good health. Now the children are under the care of the medical staff at the Neonatology Clinic, where they are receiving the necessary treatments ," the announcement states.
