The Greek MEP, Eva Kaili, involved in the "QatarGate" scandal, has returned to the seats of the European Parliament.

The news was announced by foreign media, according to which Kaili made her first public appearance at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, a few months after her release.

In fact, on Wednesday she attended a speech by exiled Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Chikhanuskaya, who called on European allies to continue supporting the people of Belarus in their fight for freedom against Vladimir Putin's "appetites".

"Before I come to Greece, I want to be declared innocent or have the indictment dismissed", she said earlier.

Meanwhile, a few months ago Eva Kaili expressed her desire to come to Greece, in her statement, through her lawyer, Mihalis Dimitrakopoulos.

"I miss my country very much, I want to come as soon as possible, but first I want to close the charges I have, either with a decision of innocence by the justice system, or if it is delayed, with the public display of the elements that destroy the indictment" - said Eva Kyle.

This is a statement he made after the decision of the Court of Appeal of Brussels, which indicated that Eva Kaili will be able to move wherever she wants within the Schengen area without seeking permission from the Belgian authorities, as announced by her lawyers, Sven Marie , Christophe Marchand and Michalis Dimitrakopoulos.

It is noted that on May 25, the Belgian authorities decided that the Greek politician could also remove the electronic surveillance bracelet, but with restrictive conditions.

The MEP was asked to return the equipment used for electronic surveillance and to allow access to her home to a member of the national electronic surveillance center to remove said equipment.

She was also required to live in her own residence and not to change residence without first notifying the investigator and not to leave Belgium without his prior written permission.

On Monday (26/6), the Italian newspaper La Repubblica reported on its website that Eva Kaili was seen in the corridors of the European Parliament with her two-year-old daughter.
