Unusual/ The Kosovo Assembly is expected to hold two sessions, here is what is expected to be discussed

The Assembly of Kosovo is expected to hold two plenary sessions today, one regular and one extraordinary. The regular plenary session is expected to start at 10:00. On the agenda in this session, apart from the regular items that are declarations outside the agenda and parliamentary questions, the deputies are expected to vote on the Proposal-Resolution for the two-year work of the Government of Kosovo.

It is also expected to review the Draft Law for the ratification of the Financing Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo, represented by the Ministry of Finance, Labor and Transfers and the European Investment Bank for the project "Rehabilitation of railway line 10 B, the second review of the Draft Law for prevention and protection from domestic violence, violence against women and gender-based violence and the second review of the Bill on copyright and related rights.

The MPs are expected to form an Ad-hoc Committee for the selection of candidates for a member of the Radio and Television Board of Kosovo, from the Serbian community.

While in the extraordinary session, a parliamentary debate is expected to take place regarding "the failure of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to provide textbooks for primary and lower secondary students for the 2023/2024 school year".

This session was called at the request of the opposition MPs and last week it failed to be held in the absence of a quorum, since the government MPs did not participate.
