The analyst reacts to the political situation in Kosovo and shows what decision the opposition should take

Analyst Mentor Nazarko, in an interview for the central news edition of ABC News with Juli Krisafi, commented on the latest political developments in Kosovo. The analyst stressed that the opposition should support the agreement and that it should not fall into the trap that Kurti himself fell into before.

"Today's opposition should not fall into the same mistake or trap that Kurti did. I really wish that this attitude of hers is not of the medium-term type, but that it will be tomorrow as well and that she will continue what Haradinaj is doing, support the government and ask to be a party to the dialogue.

The role of the international factor must also be taken into account. A pro-Western opposition cannot ignore US positions. It would be fatal for Kosovo if an electorate which was mostly anti-Western like VV, becomes an anti-Western electorate like LDK and PDK.

My fear is that this criticism of Kurt does not turn into a criticism of the West in the electorate. The leaders of today's opposition cannot oppose it today as they did today by opposing the agreement," said analyst Mentor Nazarko, among others.

Commenting on the opposition's accusations that Serbia is favored in this agreement, Nazarko emphasizes that it will likely be asked to impose sanctions on Russia. "Two big things cannot be asked of him at the same time: recognizing Kosovo and imposing sanctions on Russia", he said.
