The member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, Gazmend Oketa, was in a live connection with the "Tirana Live" studio where he spoke about the "May 14" elections. He said that for him, Berisha is the chairman of the PD, since according to him, the court does not make you the chairman for the membership of the party. Oketa added that Berisha is supported not only by his sympathizers, but also by citizens who see his group as the majority and worthy. Okerta conveyed the message to Alibeaj that the DP will touch the bottom with him.
"First we have to agree on who we should call the official DP. For the umpteenth time, it has been said that the president is not a court decision, but the party membership. For me, the president of PD is Mr. Berisha.
Let's go back to the May 14 elections. Whichever of the scenarios can be applied, I judge that the time is insufficient to make a real union between the two groups. Berisha's group is supported not only by sympathizers, but also by people who do not support Berisha, but support the membership.

Regarding the possibility of the official DP coming out with 61 candidates or coming out with candidates in some municipalities, Oketa said that while Alibeaj claims to be the mayor, why not claim the 61 municipalities of the country. He emphasized that Alibeaj has a lot of trouble finding dignified names for the 61 municipalities, only with names from "Facebook", especially in the main municipalities of the country.
Oketa added that this attitude of Alibeaj will mark the end of the Democratic Party.
