The Chief State Commissioner of Elections, Ilirjan Celibashi, declared that the ballot for the local elections on May 14 will be simpler than the 2019 elections.
In the "Barometer" show, Celibashi said that in those elections there was uncertainty about the ballot and this, according to him, also because the CEC started the information campaign for citizens late, regarding how to vote.
"The ballot this time will be simpler than in the last local elections. We have to admit that because of the debate that took place about the ballot, we as the CEC started the campaign a little late on the way of voting.
Apparently, we did not adapt the correct model of the ballot, because there is no other way to explain such a high number of invalid ballots", he emphasized.
