Elections/ Duka sheds light on the behind-the-scenes of the opposition: Some MPs will leave their mandate to run for mayor

The head of the Agrarian Environmentalist Party, Agron Duka, disclosed details of the meeting with representatives of the Alibeajt group, where he emphasized that the majority are in favor of the idea of ??going to the elections with joint candidates.

In an interview with journalist Osman Stafa, Duka said that some of the deputies even have ambitions to run for local elections.

"Those we have met are ready and are of the same mind and support the idea of ??going out with a common candidate. There are of them, there is nothing to hide, and they try and claim to run for mayor. These local elections are important and there is nothing wrong with any of them leaving their mandate and sacrificing for their area. We owe it to the Albanians to return the country's politics to normality.

I am in favor of polls. It is more fair. It will be decided by all parties. It is important that we agree. If we sit at a table, the language is found," said Duke.
