Minister Hasani reacts to the killing of an officer in Kosovo: Albania is on Kosovo's side

After the killing of the Kosovo police officer, the reaction of the Foreign Minister of Albania, Igli Hasani, was immediate, condemning the armed attack on the Kosovo Police in the north of the country, where as a result a police officer was killed and injure another.

In a reaction on social networks, Minister Hasani says that the murder of the Kosovo policeman threatens the stability of the region and that the perpetrators must face the law.

"We strongly condemn the armed attack against the Police and the state of Kosovo. Our condolences to the family of the Police officer who lost his life in the line of duty and speedy recovery to the injured officer. Today's criminal act is a threat to the security and stability of our region and the perpetrators must face justice as soon as possible".

Minister Hasani has expressed Albania's support for Kosovo, while emphasizing that this situation requires the cooperation of the Kosovo authorities with the allied countries.

"Albania is by Kosovo's side in these difficult moments that require composure, in close cooperation with allies and partners".

The killing of the Kosovo policeman was also condemned by the American ambassador in Pristina, as well as the entire political class.
