Summoned to SPAK today, the mayor of Kruja reveals details from his testimony

The mayor of Kruja, Artur Bushi, reacted after being called to testify at the Special Prosecutor's Office (SPAK) on Friday morning.

Through a statement, Bushi said that he gave his testimony, after being called by a citizen, Muharrem Hoqja.

The citizen claims that Bush has personally attacked him, regarding the implementation of the law against him, for three constructions without permission that he has done.

"In strict compliance with the investigative procedure and in respect of informing the public as far as the law allows, I want to inform you that today I was at the SPAK offices to give my testimony regarding the report of a citizen from Kruja, Muharrem Hoqja , who has claims of personal attacks by the Mayor of Kruja, regarding the implementation of the law against him, for three constructions without permission made by this citizen, against which all legal measures have been taken! The call to SPAK was only for this part and has nothing to do with public procurement and tender procedures.

I gave my explanations in response to the Prosecution's invitation, on the case in question and I will come whenever my presence will be necessary, because I do not avoid the truth and the law. I call any other malicious allusion in the media or portals part of the May 14 political campaign, which has already begun and unfortunately, the opposition has chosen mud and disinformation of the public," Bush's statement says.
