The chaos caused by the opposition in today's Parliamentary session, as the 2024 draft budget was expected to be discussed, has attracted the attention of all international media.
"Corriere della Sera" writes that the Albanian parliament has been engulfed in chaos, as the opposition lit smokestacks and then a fire in the assembly.
"The goal of the opposition is to create parliamentary commissions of inquiry to investigate suspected cases of corruption that may involve senior officials of the executive branch," writes this media citing "La presse".
The Greek media have also reflected the chaos in the Assembly, writing that "before the smoke of the fire, security personnel were placed in front of Prime Minister Edi Rama's seat to protect him from incidents."
Turkish media TRT published footage from the tense session, including Sali Berisha's warning that there will be no going back until the return of parliamentarism, according to him.
