The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka has reacted after the meeting she held with her counterpart Nikos Dendias in Athens. The minister said that she has held a constructive discussion on all aspects of relations between the states, but without specifying concrete topics, the most important of which is the issue of the sea.
The Greek media write that this visit is the existence of a real possibility for signing the document that will refer to the International Court of Justice in The Hague the definition of the EEZ between Greece and Albania.
Athens, It was a pleasure to meet my counterpart, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Nikos Dendias. We had a constructive discussion on all aspects of our Albania-Greece relations. Kudos to Minister Dendias for his role in deepening and expanding the partnership between our two countries and supporting the integration of Albania and the Western Balkans into the EU.
We share the same vision and desire for the future of our relationship and the region as a whole and are committed to working closely together in finding new ways to engage constructively for the good of our people and the region.
