The Chairman of the Justice, Integration and Unity Party, Shpëtim Idrizi, reacted after the recent tensions in the north of Kosovo, where an armed Serb group attacked Kosovo Police officers, killing one of them and injuring another.
Through a post on Facebook, Idrizi says that Albanian institutions should support Kosovo.
He also adds that the President of the Republic should request a meeting of the National Security Council, regarding the situation in question.

Today's events in the north of Kosovo are shocking the entire Albanian opinion.
PDIU strongly condemns the terrorist attack in Kosovo where one member was killed and another member of the Kosovo police was injured.
PDIU expresses its condolences for the lost life of the policeman killed in the line of duty and we pray that the injured will get better as soon as possible.
We call on all institutions of the Albanian state to be in contact with and support the state of Kosovo.
The President of the Republic should urgently request the meeting of the Security Council and the reactions should be coordinated and in support of the state of Kosovo.
The escalation of violence is Serbia's strategy to the detriment of Kosovo and security in the region.
This is the occasion to not only stand in solidarity but to have a nationwide reaction.
