The arrest of the former mayor of Durrës, Vangush Dako, who was left in prison by GJKKO under the charge of abuse of office in two different cases, has brought many reactions in the political scene, causing it to be commented on as a 'show' on the part of SPAK.

Analyst Skënder Minxhozi, invited to the Real Story studio, commented on the order for Dako's arrest as a double standard that, according to him, is being used by SPAK, arguing that there are other politicians who should be investigated for much more serious charges such as that of January 21, 2011. He said, among other things, that SPAK was acting in this way, being involved in the enthusiasm to fulfill the expectations of the citizens.

"The secret or not secret enthusiasm of SPAK comes from a third factor that has nothing to do with Dako, I think, which has to do with impunity. Dako takes the hope that is fading in a public opinion, with SPAK there were other expectations, and today it is turning into disappointment" - said the analyst.

On the other hand, journalist Frrok Çupi said that SPAK's accusations against Dako have dropped. He said that seeing what he is accused of, the former mayor can leave the cell within 3 days. While he said that SPAK has eliminated the "institution of flagrante delicto" by no longer arresting people caught at the time of committing the criminal offense.

"SPAK is excited. In the last report issued by SPAK for Vangjush Dako, two columns of accusation were dropped. If we here send a lawsuit to SPAK, they don't look at it or respond. They are the most unjust people in the world, as I have proven so far. They are seriously violating the deontology of justice. They extinguished the institution of flagrancy. If justice anywhere in the world, whether in Athens or London, eliminates the institution of flagrante delicto, it is no longer justice. To this day, we have not caught anyone red-handed. From what I have read, you understand that in 3 days he will be out of the cell. There is no place for him to stay with something where he is said to have signed late," said Çupi.

On the other hand, the former DP candidate for Tirana, Roland Bejko, said that Dako's arrest was an orchestrated spectacle. While describing Rama's reaction as too relaxed, Bejko said that the issue of Dako's arrest could turn into a boomerang for justice if there is not enough evidence to keep him in prison.

"This time Rama was more relaxed, unlike when the Americans declared her non-grata. We live in the time of spectacle. I think that this entire advertisement was made in this context. If it is as you say it is not new. It happens that they advertise it with great fanfare. The same thing happened with Justice, it can turn into a boomerang if there is not enough evidence. Because if the court decides to release him, then the show ends," said Bejko.

GJKKO set the measure of 'prison arrest' for the former mayor of Durrës, Vangjush Dako, who is accused of abuse of office in two different cases during the time he held the post of the mayor of the second most important municipality in the country. He was transported to Durrës prison where he is being held in detention cells.
