"The situation is depressing, there is no other way"/ Berisha warns of powerful movements

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha stated that the situation after the local elections is "depressing", but emphasized that the Democrats "must not give up".

He warned of protests, as he said that "we will stand up in a powerful movement, against the fiercest enemy of the freedom of Albanians, Rama and his government".

Berisha: "PD must return to the protest. Difficult, sacrifice, but another way, I guarantee you that we are only lying to ourselves.

We are not the only ones who lie, but we believe the truths. The Democrats and the opposition must make individual decisions to come together in an open battle for the free vote. Rama showed his face.

The situation is desperate, let's not give up and stand up. In any circumstance there is only one way out to stand up to protect their nation from a process of destruction that no other nation has experienced.

We will stay, I have the deep conviction that we will. Democrats in difficult conditions, when they were many times less than that, have known how to defend the opposition, values, create hopes and continue the battle. I think that at these stages it should be, to move after the process of denunciation and protection of the vote is finished, we will do the analysis and we will stand up in a powerful movement against the fiercest enemy of the freedom of Albanians, Rama and his government.

I am confident that the idealists will give a decisive turn to the country."
