Dr. Erion Dasho, both a political analyst and a well-known activist, says that in Albania "we have a health system, which is not only European, but, badly cut in concept, it is not intended as a system that serves the citizen... but as a system since 11 years it has served only a handful of oligarchs".

During a television interview, Dasho said that the hospital was used for demagoguery last year: "If you remember, citizens, Prime Minister Edi Rama took an entourage of doctors, heads of wards last year, it was April, and he declared in front of the Albanians that he is inaugurated a hospital that has nothing different from the hospitals of Paris!!!

I remember it because exactly this statement served to make a series of statuses, where I explained the differences between European hospitals and Albanian hospitals".

"But of course it was a statement for public consumption, a statement to make pure electoral propaganda and to show Albanian citizens an illusory reality that did not exist.

In fact, we have a healthcare system, which is not European itself. It is a health system, which is badly cut in concept, it is not intended as a system that serves the citizen, his health, his interests, but as a system that for 11 years serves only a handful of oligarchs, serves enrichment. of these oligarchs and as the arrests of SPAK, the investigations of SPAK and all those analyzes made by the opposition, made by various intellectuals, experts in the health system - a system where the money stolen by the oligarchs is also shared with the rulers are showing. In this way, a hole of 500 million euros has been created in the health system, which the World Health Organization also proved a few months ago that this hole is filled by Albanian citizens with their out-of-pocket payments," he further underlined.
