The Electoral Code provides that parties receive financial support for the electoral campaign, but in the case of the Democratic Party, this support will not exist for the May 14 elections, due to the boycott of the Democrats in the 2019 process. Funds are calculated based on the result of the last local elections, in which the PD boycotted and now suffers the next consequence, that of the lack of budget support. It is learned that the money will go to the coffers of the Socialist Party, as a political force, which won the entire local government. Ndërkohë nga ana tjetër në kuadër të zgjedhjeve vendore e vitit 2023, është zbuluar edhe pagesa që Komisioni Qendror i Zgjedhjeve do të akordojë për komisionerët në zgjedhjet e 14 majit. Sipas dokumenteve të këtij institucioni, komisionerët dhe numëruesit që do të angazhohen në 14 maj, do të shpërblehen me një vlerë financiare që varion nga 60 mijë lekë të vjetër në 1.2 milionë. Masa e shpërblimi ndikohet nga funksioni. Kryetari dhe zëvendëskryetari i KZAZ-së nga momenti i konstituimit deri në shpalljen e rezultatit përfundimtar të zgjedhjeve shpërblehet në vlerën 1.2 milionë lekë kur kanë nën administrim më shumë se 80 qendra votimi, 1 milionë lekë kur kanë në juridiksion 50 deri në 80 qendra votimi dhe  650 mijë lekë për KZAZ-të me më pak se 50  qendra votimi. Pak a shumë e njëjta masë shpërblimi aplikohet edhe për sekretarin e KZAZ-së, ndërsa anëtarët e thjeshtë të KZAZ-ve do të paguhen nga 600 mijë lekë. Më pak do të paguhen komisionerët e qendrave të votimit dhe grupeve të numërimit, pikërisht sepse ata angazhohen kryesisht vetëm 1 ditë. Kryetari i Komisionit të Qendrës së Votimit (KQV) shpërblehet në vlerën  dyzet mijë  lekë, ndërsa anëtari dhe Sekretari i KQV-së shpërblehet në vlerën  tridhjetë e pesë mijë lekë.  Anëtari i Grupit të Numërimit të Votave (GNV) shpërblehet në vlerën 60 mijë lekë të vjetër.
