The Anti-Corruption Resolution approved by the majority votes in the Assembly, Agalliu makes a strong warning: A threat to the justice system itself

The Anti-Corruption Resolution approved by the majority votes in the Assembly,

The deputy of the Democratic Party, Arbër Agalliu, has stated in a television studio that the anti-corruption resolution approved yesterday in the Parliament is a threat to the justice system itself.

According to Agalliu, Prime Minister Edi Rama does not have the morals to propagate the fight against corruption, as a few weeks ago he approved the amnesty in the Assembly together with a part of the opposition, doing, according to him, to release corrupt officials. 0

"He who amnesties those convicted by the Criminal Code of Criminal Justice cannot have political morals to be asked to fight corruption. The majority with colleagues from the opposition amnestied about 110 individuals who were high officials convicted for the criminal offense of corruption, for buying and selling votes. What can the government ask for a resolution when on the other hand it joins the votes with some opposition colleagues to appoint the corrupt. There is no morality here. Meanwhile, I leave in the protesters who protested against corruption and are kept today either in cells, or under house arrest or probation. Those who stole and put their hands in the pockets of Albanians, this majority with a part of the opposition took them out. There is no place to stay"

Agalliu pointed out that the government should fight corruption and clean the administration from such elements, but according to him, there is no will to do this. He even added that this is an open threat to the new justice that they can dissolve it as they unanimously voted for its creation in the Assembly.

"The government must make every effort to bring the corrupt to justice and clean up the public administration. Now the government tells the opposition; let's fight corruption.

While the opposition cannot commit corruption, it does not sign tenders or public funds.

It is the government that makes them. There is no will to fight corruption, but there is a will of the majority to unite votes with a part of the opposition to put pressure on justice, to tell justice; we merged the votes and created you, we merge the votes and we can merge you altogether. This is not going to happen because the Albanians have the USA and the European Union as allies",  Agalliu stressed.
