Rama and Meloni had numerous discussions, including investment opportunities

Prime Minister Edi Rama was welcomed today by his counterpart, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, as part of the high-level visit he is conducting in Italy. The face-to-face meeting between Prime Minister Rama and the Italian counterpart Meloni at PalazzoChigi was followed by a joint meeting between the two respective delegations.

The traditional Albania-Italy friendship and the will to deepen the excellent cooperation between the two countries, where there is undoubtedly a great potential to do much more, was also discussed in this meeting.

The further strengthening of relations in the economic field was another topic widely discussed at the meeting, where Italy, as a strategic partner of Albania, has a very important role in this regard through the ever-increasing presence of Italian enterprises in our country.

Also, during the meeting, the investment opportunities that Albania offers in many potential sectors, such as energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and especially tourism, were discussed.

Regarding the European integration of Albania, it was emphasized in the meeting that Italy will continue to strongly support the process, in all its stages, as it has been until now.
