Kreshnik Çollaku reacts to Rama's proposal for the head of SHISH and warns: Unnecessary provocation towards Kosovo, such gestures stimulate conflict

The deputy of the Democratic Party, Kreshnik Çollaku, reacted to the proposal that Prime Minister Rama made today to President Bajram Begaj, for the new name for the head of SHISH.

Through a post on Facebook, Çollaku says that the lady proposed for this post previously held the position of director of KIA (Kosovo Intelligence Service), but was dismissed from this position by President Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

He sees Vlora Hysen's proposal as a provocation to Kosovo's institutions that a leader dismissed by the current government should be proposed for appointment in the same field in Albania, although the reasons for the dismissal are not known.

Unnecessary provocation towards Kosovo. I learned from the media that Prime Minister Rama has proposed to President Begaj Mrs. Vlora Hyseni as a candidate for the head of SHISH. It is the first time I hear the name of Mrs. Hyseni and I have no knowledge of her quality and ability in this task.

What impresses me is the fact that Ms. Hyseni has held the position of under-director of KIA (Kosove Intelligence Service) for a period of time and was dismissed from there by President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti. I do not know any of the reasons for this dismissal, but it seems unusual to me that an official dismissed from the institutions of Kosovo (in the field of intelligence) is appointed in this field from Albania.

The relations between Albania and Kosovo are fraternal and should go towards joint functioning. This case seems to me an unnecessary provocation by Albania against the institutions of Kosovo. It is out of the question for this to happen.

Between the institutions of our two countries, we need as much cooperation and coordination as possible, while such gestures stimulate unnecessary and harmful conflict.
I do not understand this behavior of the prime minister, but I remain hopeful that President Begaj will not allow the creation of an unnecessary and harmful climate of provocation, mistrust and non-cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania.
