Basha-Berisha clash, well-known political scientist: Whoever wins, PD will not be complete for a long time

Political scientist Ermal Hasimja commented on the situation in the Democratic Party and the Basha-Berisha clash.
Hasimja said it was unacceptable for the DP to be led by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha. According to him, this is a battle of Berisha for his personal interests.
"This part of damaging the DP has its own real element because I think that a DP led by Berisha is unacceptable not only by the US, but also by the majority of public opinion. The element of democratization, despite Berisha's wish, is a personal battle, it comes because of personal interest. It is very difficult for the gray electorate, which is crucial for the elections, to swallow the idea of ??Berisha's return. "It is difficult to think that all Basha supporters should leave Basha," said Hasimja.
He further stressed that whoever comes to the helm of this party, the DP will not be complete for a long time.
"Whoever wins, the DP will not be complete for a long time. The opposition is biting its beast, it is dealing with itself, it is not playing its fundamental role. If the DP would have to go through some sort of ordeal to re-emerge it would be worth it. "I am afraid that such a battle is not built on the basis of values", said Hasimja.
