Strong divisions within the party/ Tabaku against Alibeaj, the deputy shows her decision and "explodes" in revolt

The exit with candidates from the Alibeaj group, for the heads of municipalities in the local elections on May 14, has been accompanied by fierce debates. 

Jorida Tabaku, one of the most critical voices in the meeting of the Presidency of Enkelejd Alibeaj, has lined up against the release of candidates in the Tirana, Durrës and Elbasan Municipalities, where three democrats who do not follow the official line have already announced their candidacy.

The democratic deputy has warned of the decision to become a candidate, as according to her, such an act would deepen the division of the democrats and wrinkle the party.

"I am against other mayoral candidates from the opposition, moreover in Tirana, Durres and Elbasan.

The division of the party at the grassroots level is very high, especially in Tirana, and anything like this would simply make it worse.

We have to think about the name of the DP and the logo of the DP and we have to protect it so that it rises and does not shrink. You are doing it wrong you are reducing the DP.

Allow us to focus our energies on the lists of the municipal council and on the name of the entity Democratic Party", said Tabaku.
