Muxhahedinët iranianë ose Organizata Muxhahedine e Popullit të Iranit (PMOI/MEK) është grupi kryesor opozitar ndaj regjimit të Iranit. Në vitin e fundit të mandatit të tij si Kryeministër, Sali Berisha ra dakord me Sekretaren e Jashtme të SHBA-ve në vitin 2013, Hillari Klinton, që nga Iraku të mbërrinin në Tiranë 270 muxhahedinë. Këta të fundit morën të gjithë dokumentacionin e nevojshëm dhe u trajtuan me statusin e azilantit politik.
