"Political parties have an interest that Albanians..."/ Celibashi reveals how he would inform voters if he were in politics

The Chief State Commissioner of Elections, Ilirjan Celibashi, says that if he were politically engaged, he would clarify to the voters what the Municipal Council is and where is the difference between the mayor and the Municipal Council.

In the "Barometer" show, Celibashi said that the political parties also have an interest in Albanian voters knowing what role the Municipal Council plays.

"If I were politically engaged, I would be interested in explaining to the voters what the Municipal Council represents and where the difference is between the mayor and the Municipal Council.

Education begins in kindergarten and we lack in fact as a whole, as a society, the educational, institutional aspect of voters with the electoral process. So the political parties also have an interest in Albanians knowing how to vote and what role the Municipal Council has," he emphasized.
