From extending the validity of the license by 5 years, to the car models that young drivers can drive and halving the fine by 50%, here are all the changes to the Highway Code

If the Road Code, amended two days ago in the Assembly, was voted on earlier, the accident with 3 victims on March 9 in TEG would most likely have been avoided. Klevis Ruçaj would not be able to drive his "Audi" type vehicle, with which he piloted on the road, since he only had a license for 1 year. All new drivers, who have just received a license, cannot drive high-volume cars, including "Mercedes Benz", "Audi" or "Porsche", which are considered luxury cars, for up to 2 years. . This category of drivers will be able to drive car models with less power such as "Fiat 500", "Ford Fiesta", "Renault Tingo", "Opel Corsa", etc. The maximum speed in our country so far has been 110 km/h on those roads that meet the standards, and the speed goes up to 130 km/h.

fines

The new changes envisage toughening and doubling of fines for drivers whose license is revoked. This category of offenders will pay double the fine, in order not to have their driving license revoked. In another point, the legislators have also thought about the pockets of the drivers, for whom it is foreseen that the fine will be halved if it is paid within the specified period. Previously, drivers who paid an administrative measure within 5 days benefited from a 20% reduction, while now, if paid within 15 days, the value of the fine will be paid with a 50% reduction.

License renewal terms  

With the latest changes, the renewal period for driving licenses is also increased, from 10 to 15 years, while this increase, if until now it was done until the age of 50, now goes to 70 years. The age limit of 70 years must be provided with confirmation of a medical certificate. The right to exercise the profession of driving school instructor is also extended from 65 to 70 years old. Citizens who have had their driving license canceled after having converted it to another one abroad, can now regain the Albanian one without testing, even if the foreign license has expired and they voluntarily renounce it.

- The maximum traffic speed on highways should not be more than 130 km/hour according to European standards.

-Për të gjithë qytetarët shqiptarë me banim jashtë shtetit ose të huajve që kalojnë nëpër Shqipëri u lëshohet një leje qarkullimi me një kohëzgjatje maksimale 30-ditore nga 15 dite që është aktualisht.

-Heqja e shërbimeve postblloqeve në të gjitha akset kombëtare.

-Nëse paguhet brenda 15 ditëve, vlera e gjobës do të paguhet me 50% ulje.

-Është kërkuar që 50% e parkimeve të jetë pa pagesë.

-Mbajtësit e lejeve të drejtimit të kategorisë B, në 2 vitet e para të lëshimit, nuk u lejohet të drejtojnë mjete motorike me fuqi specifik, referuar masësh bosh të mjetit, më të madhe se 55KË/ton! Për makinat hibrike elektrike ose plug-in, kufiri specifik i fuqisë është 65 ton KË/ton, duke përfshirë peshën e baterisë. 

-Qytetarëve të cilëve iu është anuluar leja e drejtimit shqiptare për efekt konvertimi jashtë vendit, mund të rimarrin lejen e drejtimit shqiptare pa testim, drejtpërdrejtë dhe nëse leja e drejtimit e huaj ka skaduar, pasi e dorëzojë atë dhe heqin dorë vullnetarisht prej saj.

-Zgjatja e se drejtës për ushtrimin e profesionit të instruktorit të autoshkollës deri në 70-vjeç, nga 65-vjeç që është aktualisht.
