Tom Doshi's Social Democratic Party managed to get a very positive result in Shkodër, influencing with its votes that the city fell for the first time into the hands of the Socialists, who took over the municipality in the May 14 elections.

The collapse of the "democratic fortress" seems to have worried Sali Berisha more, who immediately after the elections launched a flood of accusations against Tom Doshi, accusing him, among other things, of buying votes.

But Doshi has decided to break the long silence by answering in an interview for Grida Duma's "Top Story" show. He said that he "doesn't want to deal with Berisha" for a long time, but the latter "doesn't leave him comfortable" saying that he "appears like a shadow".

Doshi said that Berisha was abandoned by the democrats, while even in his party, the DP, there is now only betrayal towards each other.

Sali Berisha was not on the ballot, there were no commissioners. The right-wing electorate has abandoned him. He is very sorry for Shkodra, which he has guarded as a fortress. But the fact is that Shkodra made it clear to Berisha, SP in 2021 received 16,000 votes, PSD received 9,000 votes, all together amounting to 34,000 votes. Alibasha's party, Luli's party received 6 thousand votes. The commissioners of Lul Basha were stolen by the SP. Berisha should look for them within the species, don't come to look for them at me.

Without the PSD, Benet Beci does not win, they are my votes. I am the most voted deputy in a right-wing area. Here it hurts Berisha that I took away the right-wing electorate.
